RAGDOLL
Welcome to my "FRANTIC FURY" restoration page!
Lots of pics of the frantic restoration of my 1965 Razorback Fury which started the first week in April of 2000.

First, a few "before" pics.

These pics were taken on March 12th, the day after I found it. I found it a small town in northeast Louisiana. It was behind a man's house, turned upside down in the edge of the woods. It had been back there for many years. All I could see was the hull, one of the small red fins, and about half of the sculptured engine well. That's all I had to see. I forked over my $100 right then and picked it up the next day.

The man didn't know where the windshield was, but when we turn the boat over there it was tucked up inside the nose. The bad thing is that it had cracked right down the middle. It cleaned up nicely and once bolted down tight the crack is not very noticeable. I plan on having it duplicated and have a line on a couple of sources to do the job. The engine well is a work of art and has flush mount steering pulleys and aluminum trim around the control and fuel line openings.
Love that windshield! A radio hole was cut in the dash and the floor was rotten. The transom was decent and would have been ok, but I went ahead and replaced the wood in it when I did the floor. The photo on the right shows how it was the day I first saw it.
